These tags allow personalisation and automation, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for members. By using these tags correctly, organisations can deliver customised communications while maintaining consistency.

Website

Tag: [WebsiteURL]

Purpose: Automatically inserts the organisation’s website URL.

  • Automatically becomes https://trial.mition.com.au. or https://www.mition.com/ depending on the environment.

Email

Tag: [Email]

Purpose: Automatically inserts the organisation’s website URL/ the user’s registered email address.

Preferred Name

Tag: [PreferredName]

  • Purpose: Displays the member’s preferred name.
  • Defaults to first name if preferred name is blank

Hello [PreferredName],

→ Output: Hello Sam,

Username

Tag: [Username]

  • Purpose: Displays the member’s username or membership number.
  • Useful for login instructions or account references.

Example:

Your Username is: [Username]

→ Output: Your Username is: 12345

Date Valid Till

Tag: [PaidUpUntil]

  • Purpose: Shows the date until which the member’s subscription is valid.
  • Ideal for renewal reminders.

Example:

Your membership is valid until [PaidUpUntil].

→ Output: Your membership is valid until 30 June 2026.

Current Role

Tag: [CurrentRolesHTML]

  • Purpose: Displays the member’s current roles in HTML format.
  • Provides visibility of roles directly in the email.

Example:

Your current roles: [CurrentRolesHTML]

→ Output: Practitioner, Branch Admin

My Settings / Privacy Settings

Tag: [WebsiteURL]/usersettings

  • Directs to the settings page where members can manage privacy and profile image.

About Me Section

Tag: [WebsiteURL]/usersettings?displayedTable=MyBio

  • Directs to the "About Me" section.

My Events Section

  • Tag: [WebsiteURL]/usersettings?displayedTable=Events
  • Directs to the member’s events list.

Automatic Inclusions

Unsubscribe link and Email Preferences link are automatically included in all templates.

  • No manual insertion required.

Reset Password Link

Tag: <a href="[WebsiteURL]/resetpassword/[Email]">Reset your password</a>

[WebsiteURL] → Automatically becomes https://trial.mition.com.au. or https://www.mition.com/ depending on the environment.

[Email] → Automatically becomes the user’s registered email address.

Purpose: Creates a single-click password reset link with the email pre-populated.

The reset password link is the most important component of the Welcome – New User Access email template. It ensures that new users can set up their password quickly and without friction.

Payment Screen Link

Tag: [WebsiteURL]/pay

Purpose:Directs the recipient to the secure payment page.

  • Opens the payment screen.
  • Requires login credentials.
  • Enforces two‑factor authentication (2FA).
  • Allows entry of credit card details to complete payment.

Include in payment reminder or renewal emails where authentication is required for security.

Direct Payment Link

Tag: [WebsiteURL]/paid/[PaID]

Purpose: Provides a simplified payment link tied to a unique Payment ID

Opens a page that does not require login.

Displays limited information:

  • Outstanding balance
  • Credit card payment slot
  • User’s first initial and last name (for verification)

Offers convenience while exposing minimal personal data

Use in quick payment reminders where ease of access is prioritized.

Invoice List Link

Tag: [WebsiteURL]/usersettings?displayedTable=MyInvoices

Purpose: Takes the recipient directly to their invoice list.

  • Redirects to the account settings page.
  • Automatically displays the MyInvoices table.
  • Provides a consolidated view of all invoices.

Include in billing emails where the recipient needs to review multiple invoices.

Invoice Details Tag

Tag: [InvoiceDetails]

Purpose: Expands to show detailed invoice information.

When sent from the Invoice Screen, it includes:

  • A link to download the invoice
  • The invoice balance
  • The invoice number

Ensures recipients can access and verify billing details directly.

Use in invoice notification emails to provide clarity and transparency

By using these tags, administrators can personalise emails, simplify password resets, and provide direct access to user settings and events. The reset password link is mandatory for onboarding emails, while other tags such as [PreferredName], [Username], and [PaidUpUntil] enhance the user experience.
