This example shows how 80% of watching a video will mark an Activity as completed and how you can use Activities to automatically mark a Program as activity and create certificates. In Mition Activities can be created automatically from courses (xAPI/Scorm or HTML), viewing a webpage, completing a form, watch a video (local file), attending an event or just a manual activity approval. These are all available to manage complex LMS programs. You can also issue certificates from a single Activity without having to create a program. To guide administrators through the process of setting up a program where users must watch at least 80% of a video (local, Vimeo, or YouTube) to complete an Activity, which then contributes to Program completion, with optional certificates and points.
Create an Activity
Navigate to Program Admin and click + NEW.
Fill in the program details:
Name: Enter the title of your CPD program.
Description: Briefly describe the program’s purpose and learning format.
Status: Set to Active
Visibility: Choose whether users can see it in their dashboard.
Click SAVE.
Go to Webpages and click + NEW.
Enter the page name (e.g., Program Test Page), Set the URL as required (e.g., /programtest).
