The Hero 2.0 component in Mition is designed to create a bold, visually striking header section within an email template. It features a full-width background image paired with overlay text, making it ideal for announcements, promotions, or any message that needs to grab attention right at the top.
When selected, the interface clearly identifies the component type as “Hero 2.0” and displays an icon representing a hero layout. Users can click “CHANGE TYPE” to switch to a different visual format if required.
A Custom Style Override dropdown is available, allowing users to apply a unique style that differs from the overall form or template. This is particularly useful for tailoring the hero section to match campaign branding or seasonal themes.
Under the Fields section, users can configure:
- Background Image: This field accepts a direct URL to a hosted image, which will be displayed as the full-width background. The image should be high-resolution and optimised for email to ensure fast loading and visual clarity.
- Hero Text: This is the overlay text that appears on top of the background image. It can be styled using the rich text editor and should be concise, impactful, and aligned with the message of the email.
