The Footer component in Mition is used to define the closing section of an email template. It typically includes contact information, navigation links, disclaimers, and social media icons—ensuring that every email ends with clarity, professionalism, and compliance.

When configuring this component, users begin by selecting Footer from the component library. The interface displays a visual icon representing a footer layout, and users can click “CHANGE TYPE” to switch to a different component if needed

The Custom Style Override dropdown allows users to apply a unique style to the footer, overriding the default styling set on the overall template. This is useful for aligning the footer with brand guidelines or creating distinct layouts for different email types.

Under the Fields section, users can configure:

  • FooterImage, which may include a logo or decorative graphic.
  • Up to three editable columns (Column 1, Column 2, Column 3), each with a rich text editor supporting formatting options such as bold, italic, bullet lists, and alignment.

The content in these columns is fully customizable. While examples like “Contact us,” “Reviews,” “Address,” and “Company Name” are commonly used, users can replace them with any links or text relevant to their organization—such as support contacts, legal notices, member resources, or promotional links.

The Footer component supports dynamic placeholders like [CompanyName], [CompanyAddress], and [WebsiteURL], allowing personalized and automated content to be inserted based on the sender or organization.

The Footer component anchors your email with structured, branded, and compliant content. It’s a flexible space that can be adapted to suit any communication style or organizational need.
